MEN who suffer from diabetes can damage sperm DNA contained in them, "which results in male fertility and the health of their offspring," said a researcher at Queen's University, Belfast.
Compared with the quality of DNA in men with diabetes to those without diabetes, was found in a study that the process of DNA solution is better in men with diabetes (52% versus 32% of men without diabetes), and there are a lot of deletion of DNA in cell mitochondria. In addition, the researchers observed that the volume of sperm from men with diabetes was reduced very far from healthy men.
